For antenna specialists, ITC retailers and classic CE retail stores in rural areas, this opens a significant business niche for the Active Antenna for fast Internet connections to fill. This means that not just private households, but also industrial and tourist operations, petrol stations and municipal administrations as well. We support local partners allover Germany addressing their potential customers. Consumers can be informed in a variety of ways, including bulk mail and targeted local press reports.

"Highly satisfied" were the words used by Bernd Höpfner, owner of Illerkom GmbH, to describe our new Audio 2010 Bluetooth hands-free device. He installed the product into a 2003 BWI 320 ci as part of a product test for "Computermagazin für die Praxis" (Computer Magazine for Practical Application), a magazine aimed at a popular audience. "We received the Audio 2010 in advance, which gave us enough time to take an indepth look at it and prepare ourselves optimally, says Bernd Höpfner. "We received a console for a charging cradle and the necessary cables ahead of time through our distributor Kuda. Installation in and of itself was finished without problem within 60 minutes. We will recommend the Audio 2010 at any time. I see particular potential for fleet managers and corporate customers."

Radio technology has been a fixture in Dabendorf since the 1940s. Yet how did it manage the change from a company held in trust by the state to an indemand, tier 1 partner for the German automobile industry? "You could write a book about it," CEO Lutz Pfister told Deutsche Welle in an interview. The 20 year anniversary of German reunification led the broadcaster's editors to profile the East German market leaders. The piece, "Total Reception and Fast Internet", recounts the success story that Funkwerk Dabendorf wrote in creating the 'compenser' for onboard installation – a story that the company is still writing today: The mobile network signal amplifier within the Active Antenna on the outside of the vehicle ensures fast internet connections. You can listen to the German report here.

In late September, Funkwerk Dabendorf once again took its spot at the in-house exhibition by its distribution partner Eno. "The exhibition was certainly one of the highlights for the year," summarizes Nadine Rossberg, Sales Manager. "We were especially pleased with the tremendous interest by specialty retailers in our presentation on "Generating more sales with Funkwerk", including both Funkwerk Dabendorf Insiders and registered retailers." The communication measure focused on areas like the sales potential of the new Audio 2010 hands-free device and the Active Antenna for fast Internet connections, as well as the cross-selling opportunities. The German interview with Nadine Rossberg can be seen here on youtube.com.

If you offer high-quality craftsmanship every day, it's a good thing to let your pride shine. The employees at format, a laundry services provider at Woltersdorf near Berlin, are the new recipients of EGO shirts from Funkwerk Dabendorf. The TÜV-certified laundry is part of the 'format' workshop for the disabled. Its workers toil every day providing meticulous cleaning, ironing, delivery and pickup of the mountains of laundry from local hotels, doctor's offices, businesses and private households. The end result: A stable employment situation that allows the employees to put their disability in the background and use accomplishment to increase each individual's quality of life.
