When companies such as Lufthansa, Metro or Coca Cola book Andreas Cullmann and his team, to equip their vehicle fleets with communication solutions, the specialist supplier cannot afford to do a bad job. "Our success is built on two pillars. We only supply our customers fully developed technology and set ourselves the highest standards for our installation work and services", says Andreas Cullmann. "The user doesn't see it if a device has been badly made. Complaints are then always directed at the kit", says Cullmann, describing why a high service level has such an important effect on customer satisfaction. Read about how and why the Funkwerk Dabendorf insider is successful with this philosophy here.

If a hands-free function is not in use during the journey, the display switches off. This no longer has to be the case. With the new version of the Audio 2010 software, the user can also dim the brightness, without completely switching off the display. The driver then immediately sees that the system is ready for use. Funkwerk Dabendorf now offers its customers this additional option, after tests on the displays have verified unlimited durability in permanent use. The new software is available here.

Phoning at the wheel can be expensive and is drastically prosecuted, not only in Germany. Abroad too, the mobile phone held next to your ear while driving results in considerable fines. Whereas in Germany you pay "only" 40 €, in Italy at least 71€, in Spain up to 91€ and in Portugal the fine is more than 120€. The highest fines are charged in the Netherlands (140€) and Greece (150€) per offence. Help your customers, not only to return home safely, but also to spend their budget on the good things in life. An up-to-date catalogue of fines for phoning at the wheel without hands-free function is available here.

Amazing but true: according to a survey carried out on behalf of the high-tech association BITKOM, of the 58 million mobile phone owners in Germany, on in three of them has the feeling that their phone is ringing or vibrating, even though it isn't. So at least 18 million Germans reach for their phone and are amazed to find that they have been tricked by their imagination. This is frequently the case, especially among younger phone users. It doesn't bear thinking about the consequences of this while they're driving. Therefore, it's better to be safe than sorry: a hands-free kit makes you immune to this phenomenon.
