Fast Internet with an attractive margin for retailers

The Home Compenser for rapid Internet at home and in the company is now available. Funkwerk Dabendorf is expanding its portfolio with a tried-and-tested solution based on compenser technology for the automotive industry. As one of the first companies in Germany to do so, Fruchtsaft Bayer GmbH & Co. KG has now installed the new Home Compenser from Funkwerk Dabendorf at its production facility in Brandenburg. The stable, and most importantly rapid Internet access affords the company a significant productivity boost in their day-to-day administrative business.
The installation means that traders are able to secure welcome additional business. The Home Compenser is now available in two versions: firstly as a Plug & Play solution and secondly as a permanent installation combined with a directional antenna. The Home Compenser is especially ideal for areas in which mobile broadband Internet via UMTS is used as an alternative to DSL. In the Plug & Play version, it is simply positioned at the point in the building where there is a stable UMTS signal. This allows the amplifier to deliver reliable and strong sending and receiving performance and makes the Internet available anywhere it is required inside the home.

The sending and receiving amplifier is used if only inadequate or no Internet connections are possible when using high frequencies such as UMTS/HSDPA. This can be the case in buildings which have metal in the masonry and ceilings or in which thermal insulation glazing has been installed.

In combination with a directional or external antenna, which is easily installed in the attic and aligned with the nearest base station, the Home Compenser can also be invaluable in areas where there is no mobile signal reception or connections are very slow to establish.
